Who makes Lofye
Lofye (Lofye: Lofi Focus Timer) is a focus timer app with music, made by BergBuilds (Denmark). The short version: nothing you do in the app is collected or sent to us. The only thing that goes online is the purchase check for Lofye Plus and coffee tips (see Purchases).
What stays on your device
Your settings, session history, streak, background/music selections, custom reminders, and the numbers on the home-screen widget are stored locally on your device only. None of this is sent to us or anyone else, and we have no accounts or login system.
Your own music and photos (Lofye Plus)
If you add your own songs or a photo, you choose the files in Android's file picker. Lofye only sees the files you pick, and copies them into the app's own storage on your phone. They are never uploaded. Removing them in the app, uninstalling Lofye or clearing its storage deletes them.
Home-screen widget
The widget shows today's focus minutes and your streak. It reads them from storage on your phone and shows nothing else.
Notifications
Daily reminders and Pomodoro alerts are scheduled entirely on your device. Nothing about your notifications is sent to a server.
Photos
If you share a stats card, the app can save that one generated image to your photo library. It cannot read or access your existing photos; it only sees a photo if you pick it yourself as described above.
Arcmode (optional)
If you turn on "Send focus to Arcmode", a finished session you tagged opens Arcmode (another BergBuilds app) on your phone with the date, duration and tag. This happens directly between the apps on your phone. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. It is off unless you turn it on.
Purchases
Lofye Plus and coffee tips are bought through Google Play. To check and restore Plus, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service, which receives a random app ID and your Google Play purchase receipt. No name, email or focus data is sent. Google handles all payment details; we never see your card. Purchase history is kept by Google and RevenueCat for app functionality only.
Feedback
Tapping "Send feedback" in the app opens your own email app with a message pre-filled to us. Anything you send goes through your email provider, same as any other email you send.
What we don't do
No ads, no third-party analytics or ad-tracking SDKs, no selling data to anyone. No automated decision-making or profiling of any kind.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. In practice, Lofye collects no personal data beyond the purchase check above and we hold nothing about you on any server (we have none and no accounts), so there is nothing for us to retrieve, share, or delete. For purchase data, contact Google Play or RevenueCat, or email us and we'll help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Denmark, that is Datatilsynet.
Children
Lofye is not directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
